Interview
Candidate will be selected and called for the interview on the qualification and merit basis. Most recruiters will qualify multiple number of prospective candidate for interview. If a recruiter is calling only one candidate for an interview and he is not following the best practices. He will call the preliminary candidates and schedule them an initial phone screening with the manager. Once through this screening, the recruiter will take the comfortable time of both manager and candidate and schedule the in-person interview.
Job Selection
Once the manager completes the technical interview then the HR Manager will come in to picture. He will carefully asses the candidate education qualifications and his ability to be a good team member and comply with company's policies. For any reason the HR manager is not satisfied, the hiring process will be started again. And for any reason the candidate rejects the job offer, the process will start again or they will asses the second best candidate available from the candidate pool they have.
Induction
Induction process starts when the candidate joins the company. Usually the HR team will send the candidate a start up pack which contains welcome kit, about the company, offer letter, compensation details and insurance details if candidate is willing to signup. This packet also contains the background check, criminal check, drug check etc. These documents has to be filled and returned to the HR department to initiate the back ground and other screenings. Once they get green light from the agencies that the candidate is good to go. Then he can be on boarded.
