Recruitment is process of finding, hiring and initiating employees in any organization. This is also know as full life-cycle recruiting. Most employers set a process and manage this process to ensure effective recruiting. This method is also implemented to ensure hiring managers comply with policies.
Job Description
To fill a job opening the HR department will contact the appropriate manager who has the opening and get the details of the job that he is in need of. This is call job description. We can expect the roles, responsibilities, skills and required tools in the description.
Sourcing and Screening
One the job description is ready, the Recruiter will start working on the pen job based on the approved job description from the manager. These job are posted in the organization website and other job boards. There are a lot of job boards available in market and the major job boards are like DIce, Monster, CareerBuilder, Net Temps, Corp-corp etc.
Candidate Search
Recruiters can search for the job boards with simple search strings or Boolean search strings. By using these search string recruiters can pull the resume from the job boards database which are aligned with the job description from the manager.
And the job seekers will respond to the job posting in the company website or Job boards. Mostly job boards. They will call or send the email directly to the recruiters. If the resume looks good with all the skills required then the recruiter will take it to the further steps.
